Changing the appearance, ambiance, and environment in your home can be as simple as painting on a fresh new color to the walls.  Updating the color from the previous owner’s choices or ones you’ve grown tired of can have a huge effect on how much you enjoy your home.

Professional, Quality Painting Services

At Castino Painting and Home Services, we are proud to provide Wilmette homeowners with interior painting services that can breathe new life into a home. We understand that because you spend a lot of time in your home, it’s important to love what it looks like, and that’s why we’re dedicated to helping you find the perfect colors for each room. Since different colors create different environments, it’s important to choose colors that correspond to what you want to feel when you’re in a room, whether that’s relaxed, energized, or anything else.

When you’re choosing colors for your home, consider what different colors and shades can do:

  • Warm Colors Vs. Cool Colors: Warm shades create feelings of happiness and excitement, while cooler tones foster concentration and peace. This is why a lot of people paint their living rooms in warm shades, but their home offices in cool colors.
  • Light Colors Vs. Dark Colors: Light colors can make rooms appear larger and are said to provide an emotional boost, while dark colors create drama and can make rooms seem smaller.

Easy, Efficient Color-Selecting Process

We’re happy to help our clients choose the new colors for their homes. We have color consultants on staff, and we can use a color simulator program along with photos of your home to show you what the finished project will look like. Our program can also show you a preview of  faux finishes if you are interested, as well. When you want quality Wilmette home painting services, look no further than Castino Painting and Home Services. Contact us today for more information.

A message about lead paint and the new EPA Mandate
This notice is to advise our customers of the new EPA mandated Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) program. The program went into effect on 4/22/10 and was updated on 7/1/10. The purpose of the program is to protect against lead-based paint hazards associated with renovation, repair and painting. There is a mandate that contractors working in homes and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 be trained and certified in lead-safe work practices. We want you to know that Castino has been “lead certified” and we follow all EPA rules and regulations. Our Certification Number is NAT-19937-1. As of 7/1/10, homeowners cannot opt out of this mandate and non-compliance carries a $32,500 fine for contractors. Castino has the right to refuse any job dealing with lead paint. Please call us with any questions or concerns.
