Looking for a way to improve the overall look and feel of your home? Painting is one of the most popular ways to do so, and at Castino Painting and Home Services, we’re proud to offer Evanston residents in the 60201 and 60202 area as well as homeowners all over Chicago and the North Shore professional and reliable home painting and home improvement services.

Interior Painting Services

When you’re painting the inside of your Evanston home, it may be difficult to choose colors without being worried that you’re picking something you’ll dislike in 6 months.

At Castino Painting and Home Services, we utilize computer technology that helps our customers visualize what different colors will look like in their home. We use a program that virtually paints photos of your own home, so you’ll be able to make a decision on colors more easily, since you’ll be able to see what your home will look like after the paint job.

Exterior Painting Services

At Castino Painting and Home Services, we have knowledgeable paint consultants on our staff that will happily help you choose a color for your home. We use a program that uses pictures of your home to virtually apply paint, which gives you a visual representation of what the home will look like once it’s been painted. This takes away some of the pressure of choosing paint, since you’ll know what it will look like before committing to a color change.

Stucco / EIFS Installation & Repair Services

One of the more popular methods of finishing a home’s exterior is with stucco or EIFS, also known as synthetic stucco.

EIFS, which stands for exterior insulation and finish systems, is commonly referred to as synthetic stucco. It was first used after World War II in Europe to repair damaged and broken concrete, stone, and brick structures. It can be applied to create the look of masonry or stone and, like stucco, is durable and visually appealing.

Stucco is a durable, attractive method that applies finishing plaster to the exterior of homes and other buildings. It has been around for centuries, but has grown rapidly in popularity over the past two decades. Because it is durable—most of the time, it does not need to be replaced until it is up to 50 years old—it is often preferable to painting because it requires less maintenance. It provides a modern, appealing look to the buildings it is used on, and because of these reasons, many homeowners are choosing it for their houses.

If you have questions and are considering stucco or EIFS for your home, contact Castino Painting and Home Services today. We have an online gallery of stucco work, and we are dedicated to providing quality home improvement services.

Professional Home Improvement Services

Not every home improvement or professional painting company is the same. Some companies overpromise and under-deliver, while others don’t offer the latest techniques or technologies for decorating or renovating. At Castino Painting and Home Services, we make a point of it to keep up to date on EPA regulations and to continually update our skill set, so that we can offer our clients in Evanston the latest in design and innovation. We also use the latest technology that shows customers what paint projects will look like on their home, by applying colors to actual photos of their home and its rooms.

We work with all of our customers from start to finish to ensure that they are 100% satisfied with the work we do. Our knowledgeable consultants will help you plan the perfect paint, stucco, or other home improvement projects so that you can live in a house that truly feels like home.

If you have any questions about the services we offer, from interior and exterior painting to stucco and EIFS or any other home improvements jobs, don’t hesitate to call us. We serve Evanston as well as the rest of the North Shore and Chicago, and we are confident that you will love our work.

A message about lead paint and the new EPA Mandate
This notice is to advise our customers of the new EPA mandated Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) program. The program went into effect on 4/22/10 and was updated on 7/1/10. The purpose of the program is to protect against lead-based paint hazards associated with renovation, repair and painting. There is a mandate that contractors working in homes and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 be trained and certified in lead-safe work practices. We want you to know that Castino has been “lead certified” and we follow all EPA rules and regulations. Our Certification Number is NAT-19937-1. As of 7/1/10, homeowners cannot opt out of this mandate and non-compliance carries a $32,500 fine for contractors. Castino has the right to refuse any job dealing with lead paint. Please call us with any questions or concerns.
